NM Professional Development Dossier for Librarian-Reviewers

The Institute of Professional Development at the University of New Mexico is seeking applicants to review Professional Development Dossiers for Librarian-Teachers (PDD-LT). As part of New Mexico's Three-Tiered Licensure, the PDD-LTs offer librarian-teachers opportunities to advance their level of licensure. Each PDD-LT is reviewed by two trained reviewers, one of whom must have experience in the same grade level or content area.
PDD-LT Reviewer Eligibility Requirements
The Professional Development Dossier for Librarian-Teachers(PDD-LT) is the cornerstone of advancement for librarian- teachers in the 3-Tiered Licensure System. The PDD-LT reviewer serves an essential function in the 3 Tier Teacher Licensure System.
Reviewers will be selected based on areas of licensure and endorsement and geographic area. Particular areas of need are bilingual, physical education, vocational education, Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences and Library/Media.
- Reviewers must complete an application and be accepted as a potential reviewer before attending a training.
- Reviewers must attend an annual collaboration session and demonstrate accurate scoring in order to continue with this program
Upon receipt and approval of your application, you will be invited to register for training.
Reviewers must also agree to follow all policies of the program and attend yearly updates. Review of the PDD-LTs is online, and you will be offered an honorarium of $75 for each dossier you review. If you have questions, please contact ipd@unm.edu for more information.
